Hats off to you man..... That's a gorgeous fish! A true Flower that's obviously being taken care of properly!

Would love to know more about the water you're keeping him in.... Do you have TDS or conductivity numbers? Where are you located???? Assuming some where that has water on the softer side? Would love to know more about every aspect of how you've kept that thing going all these years! You may school a lot of old schoolers!!! lol

I run my Socal tap water through 2 sediment filters and a carbon filter. I hook it up to my shower and i run it for a couple hours. It goes through 1/4" tubing so its not as much as u would think it is. Hes in a 135 by himself. Its 4x3x15. He has either eaten or just killed his other tankmates. Water is at 26.5-27.5 Celsius.

I meant southern Canada
 
We could bring either species in from wild most any given week they are available if the demand was there. Just say the word my friend, I'll make it happen.
