Agree with both these statements. My female flower is doing spectacular with my Leos and Marbles. Actually will dive into the pile to get at the food. As for as growth rates, my flower grows much slower than the blacks. Not what I expected.

Anders, his is a female.

I agree. they may get huge but it must take a while. My leo's out grow my flower. My flower is around 11" and was 6.5" 2 years ago. so that seems very slow. Mine gets pretty aggressive during feeding and bites everyone in the tank. and pounces food like crazy.

I wonder if they will grow faster in RO water.

Seems that many of the colmbian rays come from VERY soft water.

On the other hand, they have the same max size as leos. So why should they grow faster?

L18´s hardly grow if kept in "normal" water. Put them in RO and their growth explode.

Keepin I think you should spend alot of money on RO water to test my theori.
