I would not feed fruits or veggies to my fish. Pellets like nls algaemax are much better for that purpose.

He dose mainly eat pellet and freeze dried krill but I like to give him a few different things especially as he dose really seam to enjoy them.
Well that's good but I think feeding any at all will do more harm than good for the digestive system of a flowerhorn. Sure wild fish may eat berries or other fruit that fall in the water once in a while but I can't imagine fruit from our supermarkets being good with all the pesticides and other possible contaminants. I would stick to good ole pellets and the odd treat of krill, earthworm, brine shrimp, etc...
You know what I never thought of it that way he has only had it twice in the nearly 5 weeks I've had him, but I'll stear clear from now on. Thanks for the heads up.

Pellets are variety. Northfin jumbo has 3 different meats and 2 algae then NLS algaemax has 9 types of algae and 2 types of meats. Combined they make 4 different types of meats and 9 types of algae as major ingredients.
