let them go at it if they will. the resulting fry are actually pretty cool fish. there sold in fish stores as either killin or kirin parrots.

i have one myself, and it has the body shape of the parrot yet the marks of a FH, and is able to close its mouth fully. mine is quite docile, likes to hide a good part of the time, and never bothers anything.
no. they are called KAMFA. kilin are a whole different strain.

Dont seperate true love:hearts:

indeed it does. i just got a bonsai and a bp. i think im getting 4 more and just let it loose with my male fh. if i get lucky i can pull some kamfa frys.

lost and dont know wat to do mom and eggs are in there own tank (how can u tell if the eggs have been fertilize ) sorry i dont have no pic so i was wonedering if someone can give me tips on what to do

Not too sure about the yellow part. Anytime I have had eggs they are all yellow. You will have to wait a couple of days. MAKE SURE TO ADD AN ANTI-FUNGAL. After a couple days some eggs will turn white with fungus. This is normal. You should notice that some eggs have a dark spot on them. This means they are fertilized. After that about 4 days later you should see them all start vibrating. This is when they are hatching. About 4-5 days later they will be swimming around on their own. 4-5 days after that they should consume their egg yolks and want food. Get Hikari First bites or hatch baby brine shrimp. Keep feeding that until they are big enough for daphnia or blood worms. Then just keep feeding and you will have small fish in now time! :D

I actually just bred my zzmalau. Here are some vids of what the eggs will look like.

Creepy lookin flowerhorn! Looks like someone grabbed his tail and head and stretched him out! Nice head and colors though, he looks deformed, so his fry shouldn't look like that, especially x BP. If they're being friendly with each other, just let em go at it. After the eggs hatch, take the male out. At least that's how I do it.

those are a+++ grade fins.. You must not know much about how they grade FH's.

Correct, Flowerhorn x BP definitely does not make killin parrots, the mix makes kamfa.

you are right about this and thank god it doesn't make those ugly deformed parrot body flowerhorns.
