I am thinking about getting a flowerhorn cichlid for my 75 gallon tank. I stumbled across a little information on these fish being good luck. So my question is are there any flowerhorn owners here that can give me more information on this? I'm not overly superstitious but it couldn't hurt to own a good luck fish.

Certainly, but first may I interest you in some lovely beach front property here in sunny NW Canada? :D

Certainly they are in no way shape or form any luckier than any other fish it's just superstition .... or maybe mine is just unlucky? Lol XD

Not really lucky for me, but they r interactive as Kiep stated.

The story is that some woman interpreted a set of numbers on the flowers of her FH and she went and bought the lottery and won.

Don't think my FH has brought me any luck since owing him but he sure puts a smile on my face every day! :grinyes:

Oh, and the rest of the story goes to say that the bigger their kok, the more luck will come your way.

If there was any truth to that, then I think I should be a millionaire LOL
