i have a male flowerhorn and he is only about 3 inches now he is in a 120 gallon tank...do you guys think i could put an aro in with him or not????

It'll probably work but there's always a risk in doing so..
Make sure the arowana is slightly bigger than the flowerhorn so it can defend itself in case the flowerhorn goes into a frenzy mode.. lol

Some people have had luck putting a small FH with a bigger arowana, but again it depends on the temperament of your FH. IF you do plan to add an arowana then make sure you have a back up plan incase the plan doesnt work. Good luck :)

There is no point. Many have try and end up remove the flower horn. For a short term yes it will works but for long term they will fight.

Depends on what kind of Arowana. A regular silver Aro may work, if it is a Jardini, then it will probably not work in the long run, when the Jardini hits a certain size, it will pursue any other fish in the tank that is considered a "threat" size and try to kill it.

The same rule applies to a flowerhorn after it crosses the 4 inch mark, and what worries me is that a flowerhorn has sharp teeth and a strong jaw that can rip an arowana into 2...

A flowerhorn will never be able to "rip" a Arowana into two, don't know where you heard that from....
