Flowerhorn big cheek?

Hi! So my flowerhorn has a swollen cheek and an unusual burnt looking spot on his kok. I’m very worried for his sake. My diet for him is pellets and peas if that’s of any use. I’ve noticed this only today. If I could be provided with any ideas, requirements, or cures, it would be greatly appreciated.

Meanwhile, what are your aquarium test results, how often have you been doing water changes, any other tank mates, how long have you had this fish, etc.?

[/QUOTEi do a water change once or twice a week. No tank mates. Had him for about a year. His subtrate is small rocks (shown in picture) He has sinking pellets so it could be that the pellet got too close to the rocks and he bumped himself. It’s my theory but please share your ideas and suggestions.
