The size difference could be a factor or as mentioned in previous post try using a divider. Also have you confirmed your fh is male. I had what I thought was a male fh, had it with a bunch of convict dithers. Put in a female parrot. Had to place a divider as fh was a jerk. Not long after it laid eggs along with the female convicts
