how long does it usually take to fully fade? is there a certain food that i should use to bring out the new colors what ever they may be? hes becoming more pink with a little orange around hes face.

The time to complete fade varies. Some take a few weeks, others take months. Just feed him a high quality pellet diet and he'll bloom for ya.

Currently he's eating Ching mix, cichlid bio gold+, massivore. Thanks for all the help

Going to be a very nice fish when done fading. He has a good thick almost square body and a pretty decent kok and good pearls.
