Not needed. Our flower horn spawns 600+ eggs every 3 weeks. It's harder to get the male to fertilize and feeders will just keep them more aggressive and in my opinion less likely to pair.

I agree. Please don't ever feed your FH feeders. It's your fish and do as you may, but they are terrible for them. Just get a quality pellet like hikari or new life spectrum (NLS). If you want to feed a snack I suggest the occasional frozen bloodworms.

I feed live on occasion but I breed the guppies myself.

I just increased my temp from 76 to 81'. They went instantly into a spawn and she completely brightened up, both did in fact.
