Could u please tell me why my flowerhorn is undergoing such color change? Is it FIN ROT? Observed since 3 days...

Its color has become overall dark with gray patches on head as well as under the mouth and belly. Its anal fin looks like fading in front half and has become dark in other half. Bu dorsat this is temporary color change...it can change back to bright color when the tank light is on..and keeps alternating...that time fins also almost come back to normal color...but anal fin discoloration is still evident...now i can observe similar color change developing on its dorsal fin :(
She is healthy and feeding properly and very active
It used to develop black stripes when feeding or lights off..but it was momentary... but this seems different

Is it fin rot?..its swimming and eating very healthily...i change 20-25 percent water every week. Since last week i have started feeding him once a week dried bloodworms and dried shrimp..Does it have something to do with the change

Also i think this is a female As It was developing a dorsal fin mark but now its gone !

Image is attached ...the normal color of FH was its colour 3-4 days ago

fin rot literally looks like the fins are melting off the fish, they appear ragged and torn. But if its just coloration changes then my assumption would be either
A-the fish is stressed for one reason or another
B-flowerhorns change color drastically from what I understand, normal would be my guess.

The shrimp could just be altering his color as well.

PS I cannot see the picture where I am at, I'm just going by your description.

fins don't appear to be torn or clumped together just changing color...was worried about the fins.. I hope u are right and its just a color change :) (probably due to new food being introduced in the diet)

No fuzzy growth..i.e no cotton wool or fungus..if thats what u are asking...
