Flowerhorn disease Id?

thats a relief...i never thought it would be a disease..just asked one fella of the internet if this fading means its a fader FH..but instead he told me that this is fin rot and do 100% water change tank clean medication etc etc... :) :D thats y i had doubt..
i m just a beginner first fish ever :) .. thanks

no, ignore whoever the hell told you it was fin rot, because he shouldn't be allowed to have fish lol. that's a healthy looking FH.
 
hehehe thanks..i guess fader is a rare breed ? has genes of Midas ? .. any idea whether its a male or female ? its almost 4 inches tip to tip... i think its a female

this is where I have no idea. I'm not a FH expert by any means.
 
Yes Midas/red devil gene. If it had that dorsal spot before most likely female.

Also faders are not rare whatsoever. It's not common but tons of faders out there.

Are female faders of similar orange color without hump..?

Not all faders have this Midas orange color most are very light orange yellowish color.
I have another male fader with no hump the kok or hump gene depends on the parents genetics.

Yours has some Trimac in it looks like and my fish is a Kamfa and yours is a ZZ so they're two different strains of flowerhorns. You can tell the difference of the shape right away.
