I tried to feed him some peas but he won't eat them. Can I try anything else.

You may want to consider adding 1 tablespoon Epsom salt per 5 gal, repeated every day for 3 days. Raise the temperature to between 82 and 86 degrees Fahrenheit and monitor for two weeks. During this procedure do not feed.
