Flowerhorn & Green Terror

So... I added a GT to my tank today. She's about 7". My male FH is around 4-5". They aren't locking jaws and even nipping at one another but what is happening is my FH is following her every move. He keeps rubbing against her and doing this little funky dance in the sand under her, lol. Anyone knows what's going on?

Are you sure it's a female ? Maybe he's trying to impress her but from what I know I don't think green terrors can cross breed with fh so if she doesn't cooperate might want to keep an eye he doesn't get mean with her

It could be a dominance thing. Keep a close eye on them in case things get nasty.

I returned the "GT" today cause it was a male and it wasn't a "True GT" it was a Riv. I did get a pretty nice female FH tho! And they aren't fighting. Hopefully I can get a nice batch of fry soon
