Is zz dragon same as red dragon flowerhorn?The first one is a Kamfa with some nice pearling; the second is a ZZ Dragon.

He's off to a decent start at that size. Put him on a good diet and groom him up properly, and he could end up being a real looker.
It's definitely a good idea to wait until the fish room is built...lol. If you get lucky and end up with a fertile male or 2, playing catch up can be tricky when the fry start getting a little older. A lot of separating will need to be done, which means more tanks. If you have a tank with some predator fish in it even better. There should be a lot of culling involved to keep the best of the best and your predators would eat well in the meantime. I am far from an expert with them, and still learning new stuff everyday, but I started breeding them about a year ago and my fishroom is in chaos from being hijacked by them.True. Best to save the breeding when my fish room is built. By then I should enough space for several species only flowerhorn tanks with individual males and females coming into contact a few times a day with dividers. Such an awesome fish with a big personality. Like owning a dog that lives in water.
