O female. or it maybe the opposite. if its about 3 inches then it should be easier to tell.
males have longer dorsal fin and female has a rounder dorsal fin. so by the picture it may be a female but i can be wrong.
That is not accurate for my knowledge with FH. Even though they are made up of cichlids, it doesn't mean they can be identify the same way as cichlids. FH identification falls into a whole different setting compare to SA/CA cichlids. I see tons of FH both female and male with long dorsal fin out there.
