Whoa whoa whoa there, calm down. When you say "comes up with some strange stuff like this a vieja shape gold based super red dragon" is kinda wrong. I don't know if you misunderstood me somehow but i'll try and clarify. I stated it was a gold base srd imo. Simply a srd that is gold bases. When I say gold base srd its not like I was creating a strain of fh that doesn't exist, simply a srd that has a coloration of gold which is known as gold based among the hobbyist.

From my experience red monkey's don't show flowerlines, have mouths similar to kamfas that are generally more sunken in rather than OP's fish that has a mouth that protrudes more than a average red monkey. The tail and fins dont extend as much as a red monkey which is a dead give away. The tail should be massive, dorsal and anal fins should surround the tail and it just doesnt. Just by looking at op's fish the mouth, body shape/fin shape, flowerline, and coloration shows its just a srd that has a coloration of gold as it's base.

Very nice female, her base alone makes her prized for breeding.

Really flowerline I see syn blotches and have you even seen a unfaded red monkey heres some and its female only high quality females are going to display long fins and these pics in the links are of males except one

The only thing I can even find comparable to the ops fish for a srd is this but looks mislabeled

classic kamfa.and for your question on fading, each fh's fade differently.some never completely fade, just depends on its genes.
