Hi Guys, I think I did this right, I'm brand new! I just yesterday picked up a new flowerhorn, I've been keeping fish since I was little, and have a lot of experience keeping South American cichlids (everything from dovii to oscars to jags) but yesterday I was in my local fish store and saw a little juvenile flowerhorn, she was huddled up in a corner and not really swimming, she looked like she was on deaths doorstep. She was only 10 cents so I bought her to hopefully at least give her a comfortable place to die. I had lost my last cichlid (a small oscar that someone had kept in a two and a half gallon its whole life, severely stunted but otherwise healthy) and had a spare twenty-five gallon that I could use as a holding tank. As soon as I got her home and started acclimating her she perked up and started swimming around in the bag, after twenty-thirty minutes of water changing her bag she ripped through it and immediately killed and ate two small cherry shrimp. she is now swimming around and chasing my finger. But I have no clue what kind she is! Do any of you guys know what she might be?UNADJUSTEDNONRAW_thumb_114d.jpg
sorry for the scratches on my lense, I drop my phone a lot.

Males have longer more feathery fins. I dont keep males so I have no pictures. The males also have no orange
