Err, forgot this post. Whenever there's a chase with the african, I describe it as "a school bus chasing a sports car", except the school bus has 900hp

Looks ridiculous at speed, wobbling about all cumbersome looking - but damn fast. Fast enough to keep up with the sprightly african.

As for length.. Good question I don't have a ruler anymore... On a pc keyboard, bottom left - Ctrl, windows key, alt, and the space bar - so from the left side of the ctrl key, to the right edge of the space bar - that long. ;P What's crazy is... I think that's 7~" ... Yowza.

(also, my fish still HATES to eat the chingmix. Guess it tastes like ass.)

wow man i really like this thread... and bubbles is starting to get a unique look to herself... im only saying her cause she lacks any and all kok.... but theres still room for change..

she reminds me very much of mine except growing a lot more faast

keep up the good work and pics, id love to see bubbles in her full grown prime

I'm gonna go ahead and say she. She's becoming extremely agresive towards the other fish and has started cleaning off one side of the tank - ripping up everything and digging a nice trench in the sand. Guess she's frisky. ;P Batteries in my camera died as I was taking pictures... will charge'em up and try again

Ok - so when I posted the above (last week, basically), I got these two shots off before the batteries died;

The "brown water!" might be from the weird goop I get on my glass.
At anyrate - a couple days later, and a glass scraping with an algae magnet... this is the new look;
