they would call it zz-malau.
these days. KML is ZZ based. So every KML you see is X with ZZ bloodline. KML used to be golden monkeys aka GM. but nowadays, KMLs are all ZZ based because GM strain had ended. GMs are where the pearls came from. That's what I've learned.

Nice fish. Very good looking male. The vertical stripes are stress. He needs to adapt. Nice fins and all. After that he'll look much better. Congrats. I wouldnt mind owning this fish
