Hi everyone,

I need help.

My flowerhorn banged his head as usual on the tool which I used to clean his tank last night but this time, it went bad. He immediately lost his balance. Since last night, he wasn't able to balance and swim normally as his pelvic fins and back tail are not moving. It's since been about 11 hours. I just fed him before work and he's eating.

What should I do? Will he recover?

Sounds like he might have injured his spine. Only time will tell if he will recover. Its a good sign that he was eating this morning. I hope he heals and makes a full recovery.

I hope so too... My flowerhorn Fred looks like your pic...Not sure if I should bring him to a vet

You know if I should do anything beside keeping the water clean and putting salt into water?
