In the water swimming and on the walls. They are everywhere!

99.9% chance they are simply planaria, which I have posted repeatedly, as well as what causes the typical outbreak.

Whoa .........

Actually, they are most certainly NOT planaria. Planaria do not swim in the water column. They crawl like slugs. Your critters are most likely to be roundworms, harmless nematodes which aquarists refer to as "planaria" in much the same way a toddler points at a passing dump truck and says, "doggy".

LMAO. At this point I think that I would wait to actually "see" with my own two eyes as to whether they are "swimming" or not. Either way, a simple confirmation via a few google searches could have confirmed what the OP is seeing, or not. Could be planaria, could be roundworms, could be Annelids, or .....

To the OP - check the following link & perhaps you can make a positive ID.

They don't go away trust me been years and nada... they swim in an S shape pattern like a snake the bigger ones atleast and the smaller one. Stick on the tank glass am I right? If so there harmless smaller fish and fry will eat them though some can reach an inch though

The worms you are seeing are probably harmless planaria as has been mentioned above. The flowerhorn pooping white is a different issue caused by internal worms. Comparing the two is like comparing earthworms to tapeworms. Anyhow, there's a good thread on here about how to fix that.

Why poor Neil? It's not my fish that's F'd up. :)
