Flowerhorn + Parrot = Really boring fish...

So, I've seen some pictures of some really spectacular-looking FH + Parrot hybrids. We had an FH and a Parrot in our store a while back, same tank, that decided they were gonna have some babies.

A friend of ours took them home to raise them up, because we didn't really have many spare tanks at the store to use, and has had them for about 3 months. He brought them back to us on Sunday, and these are the ugliest fish I have ever seen in my life. They look like a cross between an FH and a Kissing Gourami almost.

Seriously, I'll post some pics if I remember to take them. My main question is this... does anyone have some pics of these hybrids? I'd like to get a good idea how these compare with others bred similarly.

here was mine about 3", the green was actually a brilliant tourqoise blue but the flash screwed up its colors.

Search kirin and bonsai parrots on here. There are threads and pics of them. Actually quite attractive as they grow, if you can accept the parrot body that is.

I'm looking at some of them now... I don't like the Parrot body terribly, but the size and the colors are pretty with that odd shame. Maybe I'll try to raise one of these... I'll keep you updated with some pics...

(Seriously, at the moment, these things are hideous... I kind of feel bad.)

rofl that's pretty funny, I'm not a fan of the parrot body either, but I do like the colors on those guys.

I can't, too ugly and deformed for me. Cool pattern or not, the fish is still shaped like a lopsided waffle with fins.

lopsided waffle with fins.that line give me a even worst image of killin flowerhorn lol.i never like them but i do feel bad for them.bonsai are alitle better looking lol
