I sold 3 juveniles for $15. I am going to keep about 12 and grow them for a bit. The rest are going to be dropped off at a petstore. I will likely get $20 worth of fishfood as a trade for fish I would have paid $200 for 2 years ago.
The fry are now pushing 3 inches. First pic is of the father of all the juveniles when he was 2-3 inches. He did not look too special back then eh!
The fry I am going to keep are in a 180 gal tank with some juvenile synspilum. I am now feeding them frozen beefheart. They seem to be growing as I watch them.

Durham region aquarium society. They meet once a month in oshawa. They have a "giant auction" in april.
