He's definitely a Red Dragon flowerhorn. 4.5" is still considered a juvenile. Around 8" is when you really start to appreciate them and see what they starting to look like. He's got really good plum flower markings. I can still see a little bit of stress marks on his body. To bring the best out of his coloration (since they do tend to change to indicate stress due to environment change and such), use plain dark blue background. His stress bars (the veriticle black lines at the rear of his body) will most likely go away. And his colors will enhance tremendously (back to it's original state). Feed him max pellets of his body length (excluding tail) in inches times two. Two feedings per day. 4.5" x 2 = 9 pellets (24hrs). Try not to overfeed because it will cause bloating (flowerhorns are notorious for bloating problems) which will cause a swim bladder infection.
