Prime is a water conditioner. I would worry less about meds and worry more about your water quality. Do you have a test? Id be doing water changes to make sure he isnt living in toxic levels of waste right now if I were you. You are treating for bacteria fungus and parasitic infections without any idea whats going on? Meds should always be a LAST resort

Prime is a undiluted water conditioner made by seachem it can be safely used 3x the normal dose its like one capfull per fifty gallons dosing every five gallon bottle of water used in a water change will increase the effectiveness of your water change

A very interesting situation. ..if someone can explain what happened that would be great...seconds after adding a dose of Melafix. .literally seconds my flowerhorn swam from the corner of the tank to the top and began rolling over and "playing" in the area were the medicine was added...I was concerned that he didnt like what was just added....so I watched him for a solid thirty mins...after it five mins from adding the dose...I noticed that is peeling was disappearing..
After twenty mins the fish's skin and horn returned back to normal...and possibly better...I will post pictures of it later...thanks a lot everyone

Cool deal yeah I should of that the api natural meds have some strange affects on fish its either their super aggressive excited behavior or they will calm completely down

He figured out quickly that it felt good and helped so he treated himself to it like a pig going to a mud hole to get rid of parasites plain and simple

You can if you like but I think about three days in a row should be good besides your going to have to do some water changes when done
