Probably $150 to $200 for the fish with shipping. I looked at quite a few fish on aquabid, but the transhipper price was around $80 - $90 to ship. That would only leave $120 left for the fish.

I like the first fish posted but would not use him for breeding purposes or pay more than $35 for him. Second fish is nice, never heard of drop tail but I see what hes saying.

Thanks for everyones input. I just want to make certain that I purchase, not only a fish that I like, but one that isn't a terrible quality as well. I have been reading pretty ferociously these last few days, so I'm learning on what things to look for. I just received pictures of these 2 4" FHs and they don't appear to look to bad imo, but I'm an FH noob!
I'm guessing that these two are better quality than the ones above? Am I correct in my assumption or do I have to read a lot more??
I'm still confused about how people are classifying things ZZ (common etc). To me it looks like most of the FHs, that I see, have some ZZ in them. Heck if I know though. All have a good day.

Thanks, but I already purchased one. I'm going to be looking for another one though. I have plenty of tank space. The one I got seems pretty descent. Probably a good mid level flowerhorn, but most of all he has spunk!
