Hello guys,
I need help with my flowerhorn. He's 4 months old and I got him last month. He was really healthy and eating really well. Then we got a female flowerhorn. They were seperated by a divider. but the new flowerhorn only eats shrimps. They kept on fighting and one day the male starts turning dark and stops eating. He also stays at the bottom and and often hide. We then decided to seperate them. But his kok is deflating. And stops eating. The male fish is still pooping long white and the female is pooping white big lumps. But she is till energetic and eating. Do they have worm or parasite? And what should I do with the male. He's turning pale and his head is shrinking. Please help me fast.

First of all a lot more variables go into breeding than just putting two fish of the opposite gender together. Your fish were not ready to breed. I could talk a lot more about that but to get to the point, your fish were stressed from each other’s presence and eventually the fighting and now they both have hex. You may have been influenced by the King of DIY...

Your male and female have hex. I use a product called CZ Clear to treat Hex. You can try Injecting Epsom salt but that only works 50% of the time for me. Start treating both fish or sadly they will probably not live.
