From what I've heard is the app for this site is pretty well dead. Btw you technically don't need the app to post pic from your phone. As long as you can use the internet on your phone you can post pics, all ya got to do to post a pic is press the "attach files button just to the left of the "post reply" button. Lol it took me about a week after I joined to figure out how to do it myself.
If ya want to add a bichir I would recommend getting a 75g. Unless you want to go with a rope fish which is a relative to bichirs, you could get a few of them in a 55g comfortably along with the FH. You'd also want to have a long tube to drop food to the bottom of the tank safely for em without the FH stealing it. It also help if the Bichirs have somewhere to hide where the FH can't fit into.
