flowerhorn trouble

i woke up this morning to my flowerhorn hiding in the corner with very bad ich and it looks like white things are peeling off of him. i check the water everythings perfect no anmonia, nitrates, nitrites. does anyone have a solution? or does it not look good for him?

I caught ich once, cured it with "general cure" aquarium salt, and raised temp to like 82 or so. I have doubts that was over night, that is a very severe care IMO but good luck.

my bad i worded it wrong, hes had ich for the past 2 days but he was still swimming around, this morning i woke up and he was just not active staying at the top and i notices white stuff had been peeling off

It doesn't look like it's going to make it mate.

Apart from that, the water can't be fine as the fish's slime coat is stripped...

What's in the water to tread the ich?

Get the medication if that hasnt worked.
ive never had a problem with ich before, do you really think its unlikely to save him? i only got him for $25 but i dont wanna just flush him or let him sit til he dies, i wanna try to save him
