Thanks guys. I thought it had matured a little since the last pics. This is probably a male right? It has a much taller body than my female. She is very slender compared to him.


Do you think a 55 gallon is ok for him for a while though?

poopsmart here's mine in a 55 at 8". I think yours will be fine. I hade one from 03 to 05 that was 12" in a 55 his whole life till I traded him. They do ok just one bit of advice though

WATER CHANGE!!!!!!!!! Lots atleast half once a week after he hits 7-8". Then you'll be doing him good.
