if the tank is big enough for them to find hiding places and run away then wouldnt be much of a problem. most people in my opinion start off with 45 gallon to 60 gallon but those tanks are too small to house more then 2 agressive fish. when they are young its ok but they will end up being very territorial as they grow especially flowerhorns. flowerhorns should be kept alone in a smaller tank.
as for me i have a 100 gallon and currently housing
3 flowerhorn 5 blood parrot, 1 arowana, 1 datnoid, 1 bichir and a pictus catfish. they are doing fine right now but im gonna have to get a bigger tank sooner or later.
