I am certainly not going to argue the genetic pedigrees of FH because I don't keep them at this time. But I will say that it is a bit ridiculous to say that a certain fish should die just because of its lack of certain qualities. A dollar amount shouldn't justify keeping a fish. If a person likes a $2 fish, it doesn't matter if higher quality fish of the same species generally cost hundreds more. I can understand culling fish because of health issues or some other serious problems, but throwing away a fish just because it may not grow to be the best example of its kind or becuase of its low price tag is just foolish and arrogant. Everyone has their own likes and dislikes. Someones $500 fish could be plain hideous to the next person.Travis921;4892784;4892784 said:if the fish isnt at least 300 at 4 inches it will never be a good flowerhorn.
