Flowerhorns before and after?

I actually kept an eye out on craigslist and a guy was breeding his zz and parrot which is where I got the one pictured... I've never trusted the ones at LFS, chrisplosions gotten some good ones at some though I've seen...

SuperRD35, I just bought one yesterday that looks almost exactly like your 3rd pic. Interesting enough, the guy was selling them at of his Vietnamese nail shop. He said he had a a lot more at his house and apparently he ships them out. I found him on Orlando Craigslist and the then search for Flowerhorn. The guy I bought mine from has the 407 area code and there's another guy that sells and ships who has a 352 area code. I'll post pics of mine tonight.

Nice! The one I bought yesterday looks almost exactly like that. How long have you had it and how fast did it grow? Mine is about 4 inches at the moment and pretty much the same build as your first pick.

I sold it a while ago. The first pic was taken on 3/01/10, and the second pic was taken on 7/21/10. He grew pretty fast. Now if I can only get my new FH eating something other than bloodworms, hopefully he will grow that fast too!
