Here are some Flowerhorns that don't follow the same standard as other FH. These are a type of kamfa if I read correctly.

I'll post more If I find some.

my old one from back in the days when POTS brought them in.
they were called "King Tiger Kamfas".. I said they were texas hybrids because I know they are.. back then the FH keepers know nothing much about cichlids.. They took these as FHs.. To me they are Hartwegi x Carpinte..

So beautiful in person though.. In my video lighting is too blue. This guy was a male. I had another one that was better looking. but Dont have his video.

lol
here he is again but he is being ***.. They did this for about 2 days then the big guy Franco found out he was a male and kicked his azzzz.. lol

if I had all that special lighting they would look pretty hardcore. But I didnt

Sorry last Vid didnt work...

At first glance I didnt think Texas mix because the Dorsal fin and Anal fin dips into a up/down curve. Texas dorsals are more like an arch.

This type of dorsal is like that of Parachromis or Nandopsis. But with that said, I think it is mixed with a few cichlids not just 2. I see Cuban in it too, hence the dorsal fin. From the scaling could possibly be Beani.

I love FH that are unconventional, and I hated KOK in the past...gotten used to it recently. Thats why I love the FH on my avatar.

Well the guy, who bred it said it was a rt X thai hartwegi hybrid. But he also mentioned that thai hartwegi are almost always hybrids.
