Flowerhorns Galore!

I had a chance to swing by FH Craze to check out the flowerhorns. Some of you may have heard of Julie Tran of AquaCraze and her nice imports of Flowerhorns, BloodParrots, Mammons...etc. Her store has moved and is now called FH Craze. This is mostly an online store but those of us lucky enough to live near Sacramento can do local pickup. I found her on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/FHCRAZE1/

Sad thing is that I was looking for a male flowerhorn and thought that Julie's store was out of business. According to yelp it was closed. I didn't know it had moved to a new location. So I ended up finding a nice SRD 3.5" male at my LFS for $100 yesterday. Then last night I happened to discover FH Craze facebook page and sure enough the store was open for a short period of time during my lunch hour today. Julie had a 3.5" SRD about the same quality for only $50. :oops: Wish I would have known.

She has a huge amount of extremely high quality FlowerHorns. The adults were just so amazing, I could have sat there all day. HUGE Koks with pearling all the way around. Kamfa's, Dragons, Faders...she had it all. I wanted to take photo's but didn't want to over stay my welcome. Until today I have only seen pictures of these competition quality flowerhorns. Once I saw these fully colored up adult males with giant koks trying to kill me through the glass, I then knew exactly why people love these fish so much.

Transhipper? Do you mean will she ship you a fish? Yes thats her primary method of sales from what I gathered. She doesn't really have a store where she has customers coming and going. She has this warehouse and tons of tanks and fish but she doesnt really keep business hours there. She mostly sells online and ships.

No a transhipper is where she is the middle "man" coming from Asia mainly thailand for the flowerhorn. I did a google search and indeed she is one thats why her name is so familiar an someone told me she has some SKKP red mammon cichlids available.

Basically anyone that buys from thailand it needs to go to a transhipper first in order for you to receive the fish.

Your are correct, She is a transhipper and she also has plenty of fish onsite so people can purchase from her stock as well. I saw the Tank full of red mammons today. There were some giants in there that had to be over 12" long. Solid red/orange color and shaped like a Veja. Others were smaller and shaped more like a red devil. Then there were also Red Parrots that were shaped like...well...ugly stupid looking red parrots. Never understood the red parrot deal but to each his own.:D
