Flowers..... I thought they are fast growing-----

Once daily. I only feed pups twice daily.

Seems like maybe the constant supply of live may be it...
Mine isn't skinny just don't show the hump like other rays do.

Hard to say as There is not many big flowers around that I know of other than Ed.

My flower or tiger never get the back bulge when feeding. I find they need to eat more often as they can't eat as much as other rays can or as fast it seems. I cut my food into smaller peices so they can eat easier and I feed twice a day if I go to one meal a day my female does not get enough to eat. They seem to grow slower but they may because they are still not getting enough food but they are continuously growing and are starting to outgrow the other rays who grew quick and are now slowing down.

Exactly..... My female doesn't eat nearly as much as the others at one feeding and doesn't eat large food items either (except crawlers she will eat them whole). And not nearly as fast as the blacks or marbles. I have been feeding her in morning before work and evenings when I get home. If I skip one day her back looks sunken. And she is growing no where near as fast as my blacks and has been in isolation for 4 months now. I don't count the Marbles as they have slowed their growth quite a bit now since reaching 10.5-11 inches.

i remember darins flower i saw this ray got to be my fav it was huge! i lost my f flower this spring had it for alittle over a year and would only eat worms. stayed skinny and grew maybe 1/2 "

Im in search for a female flower Mike but if they grow as slow as ur saying then man how long would it take me to grow a female flower out lol...And btw I have that 750 gallon

Why grow it out? You can get already big ones.
