Mayweather is probably the best pound for pound boxer of our generation. The problem is that he is so good he has no one left to fight. The challenge of UFC is probably interesting to him, but I don't think there is any way he will take a 20 million dollar paycut.

Somthing you need to realize with boxing is that a lot of the cash is raked in based around the hype prior to a fight. You'll see boxers trash talking eachothers family's on live television and pretending like they're about to go to blows in conferences, just to rake in more money - Mayweather is likely doing the same thing with the UFC ect. to set himself up for more if he does go that route.

no one left to fight??? Cotto, Shane Mosley, Margarito, Cintron, etc. etc. theres lots of fights out there for him and I think anyone of these has a way better chance of beating him than the never been tested Ricky Hatton. but rather than fighting all these guys and shutting everyone up he would rather let them fight each other and then fight the one who wins and then he can claim to beating them all, he's a good fighter but he doesnt care about his fans or boxing fans just money, and as long as he can keep everyone talking about him he can sell fights and make more money, thats why he talks so much garbage to stay in the limelight.
