Flu shot side effects: MUST SEE!

That really sucks, I feel sad for her. I keep going back and forth about getting the flu shot. I hear of cases where people die from the flu and then hear that the flu shot is risky. It is so hard to decide.

Just so people know, this wasnt because of the shot. It is a hereditary problem, that she would have gotten even if she didnt get the shot at all. It just activated, possibly becasue of the shot.
A flu shot is not going to give you a hereditary disease.

That being said, I still probably wont get a flu shot.

That's so sad! I live just a few hours away from that county, too. I'm pretty sure I've ran into her before, before this happened to her.

It seems like increased blood flow and electro-pulses to the muscles help. I wonder if finding a way to increase those would help.

A very sad case, but there is no evidence to suggest that the dystonia was caused by the flu shot (any more than it was caused by whatever she ate for dinner the night before).

Dystonia is a rare condition and the physiological and genetic factors that cause the disease are poorly understood. So far in this case, I haven't come across anything that suggests an immunological contribution. Hopefully time and some more medical tests will offer suggestions for a cause and cure.

Until there's some evidence to suggest that this was really just the result the vaccine, the risks of flu outweigh the risks of the vaccine.

here is my thoughts on this

the human immune system is not meant to mainline what is in those needles it does not strengthen but weaken ASK YOUR DOCTOR FOR A TOTAL CHEMICAL BREAK DOWN OF WHATS IN THAT NEEDLE AND SEE IF YOU WOULD TAKE IT THEN!!!!!!!!

I find this confusing. Most vaccines are far less stressful to the immune system than an actual infection with the corresponding pathogen would be. Vaccinations absolutely strengthen the immune system (not weaken it) in that they improve the subsequent immune response against the pathogen that you've been vaccinated against. Your immune response against reinfection may not be quite as strong as if you were actually infected with the pathogen in the first place but, depending on the pathogen, that carries the risk of not being able to fight it off, having to be hospitalized and possibly dying of infection.

Exactly what components in the "needle" are you suggesting are the problem?
