Not quite, the Fluval 404/405, FX5, Rena XP3, XP4, Eheim 2217, 2026, 2028, 2076, 2078, 2250, 2260, 2262, 2080, 2180, Marineland C360, and many other smaller companies, are all large enough to run a 92 gallon tank. Even the AC110 could be run alone to filter an entire 92 gallon tank.

with an FX5, sure. but an Fx5 is considerably larger than 2217 or XP3 for example.

it really depends on the load.

with a light load with smaller fish, yes.

but not if you have monsters! :)

Most on the board are advocates of running more than one filter for a variety of reasons.

I do recommend running different filters on the same tank, but not for over filtration, but for specific filters for specific needs. One FX5 is overkill for a 92 gallon tank. More is not always better. An eheim 2217 and an AC50 will be more than enough to keep the tank clear, clean and all nitrogen under control, even with monsterous fish.

I know that with only one canister on, it runs slower, but with both on, it seams to have more flow. But if i only run one canister, it runs slower giving the water longer contact time with the BB. so wouldnt this be better ?

Up until you kill your pump, This is adding a lot of drag on the filter. Slower flow rates are good, but at a certain point it turns bad.

Tunning in to see one of the pumps die, I mean to see the results of this experiment.

Hide the "equipment" behind some plants/driftwood/rocks. Or just paint them black with Krylon Fusion paint. Seems really stubborn to me to run the filters inline like you are doing, you are choosing luxury over necessity. Good luck.
