Fluval Aquasky problem

So, I got the aqua sky 3.0 and it is amazing, until I left the house today. The Bluetooth disconnects the second I leave. That is going to be a huge problem.
Any ways to troubleshoot this?

You can’t control it via Bluetooth when you are outside of range if that’s what you are asking.

The light actually completely shut off when I left. I didn’t find out until I was told when I got home.
Is it best just it find another device to connect it to?

It should not completely shut off unless you make it or schedule it to. Light should not shut off just because the device with the app on it is not nearby. Something is going in that shouldn’t be. You need to do some troubleshooting.

Did your power go out by any chance? Mine did today in NJ briefly and the light reverted to my night setting when it came back I’on.

is it on the manually set mode or the timer? pretty sure you have to be on the same wifi network as the light but it shouldnt effect the light if you disconnect.

Power actually did stall this morning, that should have done it.
The light is set to the automatic setting, it only turns off at night.
