ya it definitely has nothing to do with air because if its just running normal with no air and i unplug it then plug it back in it will make the noise for a second before it starts pumping again... its just a clicking noise

Like I said the magnet impeller assembly is jiggling when it starts up in the motor housing. I have an old ac110 that does the same. Don't worry about it, the more you turn it on and off the more damage it will do.
