So for the hell of it, last night I decided to make a website on the Fx5 and the different modifications and procedures you can do with it.

Anyone with any type of modification or a procedure can post in here and I can add it.

I don't have a permanent address for it yet but for now (temp) its on my business domain.

What do you all think? Good Idea?

Not all the buttoms work as I was coming up with new and old ideas for mods and procedures so I will have to test each out to see if they actually work.

Well I updated the site. More links added and more of them work. New design as well. I think this looks really good. Its a grey theme instead of red.

I am including, FAQs, Known Issues and Common Myths as well. That should clear up a lot of questions.

It should be operating within 20 minutes of this post.

great work man. Some of the links don't work, have you just not finished?

Ya its not finished at all. I am still putting it together.

When its finished I will get a domain for it.

Thanks for the comments. If anyone has any suggestion as to what else should be listed, let me know.

I Updated it again. The descriptions are more in depth on the index page. Tells you a bit more about a couple features.

Should I include a forum for the Fluval Fx5 with this site?

I don't know what categorys I would have on the forum.

Categorys;

General
Forum Suggestions
Website Suggestions
-----
Fx5 Filter General Talk
Reviews
Trouble Shooting
-----
Fx5 Filter Tech Talk
Fx5 Modifications
Fx5 Procedures
Filtration Setups

What ya think?

I am not that great setting up good forums so if this is something the Fx5 Owners would like, I may need a little help getting a secure forum running. Last time I ran a real basic forum, there was nothing but spam getting into it and no way to control it.

What ya think?

added to favorites good job,,, well for my 2 fx5's that i run i used different outputs i took 2 90o strt pvc elbows and this allows for more push of water which in fact helps with water movement what you do is simply remove the old double return nozles and since the 90 strts are skinny on one end the hose actually fits perfect rt over them and then for sercurity reasons i used 2 zip ties on each to secure them and they work great and it seems like they have much more power

Picture? Sounds exactly like what I did, except I used one 90 degree fitting. I do agree this works a lot better than the original output nozzle.
