Fluval FX5 owners...

I was going to buy one or 2 of these, and was wondering how loud they are. Are they relatively quiet???

Also, does anyone know when the Rena Xp4 and Xp5 are due to come out???

i have no exp with the fx5 but ive read they are a bit louder than eheims. i'd go for eheim anyways but thats something else.

the xp4 will be out in less than six months but I don't think they are making a xp5..

I prefer the Eheim myself. If you want a quite filter get an eheim.

i have some cheap german externals and they are amazingly quiet so i will guage the fx5 against those

I purchased a Fluval FX5 but haven't hooked it up yet (still doing the leak test on the DIY tank for it). I'll let you know how it goes once it's up and running.

dont worry about it they are quite - you will sleep just fine
