Fluval Biomax for all 3 baskets, u don't need that other crap.....IMO...
the FX5 is already a sponge king..the mechanical filtration is covered.

if i were u i would buy another filter to assist the FX5. i use a FX5 and Eheim 2028 pro 2 on my 120 gal. Eheims are great for biological filtration!
u wont regret buying one...

FYI those polishing pads are notorious for clogging and reducing flow. they must be bought again and replaced u cant clean them..

i agree with sting. i have two eheim pro II 2028's on my 100 gal... and i love those filters because of bio filtration. with stock i have (in my sig) the two filters keep my water parameters perfect. and for cheap mechanical filtration pick up a roll of quilt batting. works just great and its CHEAP!
