Is anyone planning to try the new Fluval G series once it comes out?

I must admit, they look VERY tempting. Price is set pretty competitively as well...

nope definatly not my tank is filtered fine as it is even if it wasent i wouldnt probably get a fluval g i mean theres no need for all the extra junk they threw in and the price dont even get me started..........

nope don't care, Something has to come out that is pretty fantastic for me to go out and buy it. And that goes for any brand.. I have to much invested in my current filters.

I wouldn't even consider it. I don't like cartridges and electronics on filters. The cartridges will certainly limit the capacity and the electronics are a problem waiting to happen.

Not a bats chance in hell cartridges+electronics :screwy:. In fact im hoping it will lower the price of the FX5 but that is doubtful. How do you think its reasonably priced ?

Converting UK pricing to US, the Fluval G is over $500!!

me too. im in the market from november so if i can get a brand new one and a 2nd hand one for under £200 together then im gonna be a happy man.

No, get a wet/dry.

I went trickle filter and would probably never buy another canister. Unless it was a hell of a deal. Even then it would have to be a Eheim.
