Fluval vs aquatop

they got to be similar, fluval is probably a bit more reliable and more expensive
 
I have 2 fluval 405s and had a 404 and liked them just fine. They keep running no matter what and are really easy to clean. Only real drama I have with them is cleaning the o-ring and sealing surfaces well enough when putting them back together. If you miss the tiniest thing they can drip water and you have to try again, and you wont know until youve already got it back together
 
if i had to pick one I'D say fluval but aquatop has a big following on here
 
Aqua top is all right for the price. I wish I would have saved more and got a better brand (water pressure is to low). As for media( money wise) buy bulk and cut to fit, it's cheaper.

So should I go with a fluval 406? Because I've heard that the pressure on those is great and I have a petsmart right down the street with all of their products.
