So figure out the depth of water you will be fishing and set a 2 or 3 nymph rig under an indicator. Your deepest fly should be a foot to 2 feet off the bottom and space them out about 18" apart. Just tie tippet to the bend of the following hook. As for flies damsel fly nymphs,chronomid midges, copper johns, pheasant tails. Look for drop offs, weed lines, creek inlets. Those spots will hold fish. Cast your flies out let them sink and sit for at least 30 seconds then strip 1-2 feet of line and let sit for another 30 seconds and do that until you have to cast again.
