Fly river turtles with rays?

Not saying I am going to do it. I am just posing the question, but this would be a 8-10 inch turtle in with 20+ inch rays. I have seen rays in with Asian arrows that mauled them pretty bad and it did not kill them. Would a turtle do worse? Would there be any time to save the situation or would the turtle eat the ray?
Would I, or should I add any specific cover for the turtle to help the situation?

Seriously posing the question as I have never had one.

I have an FRT and some rays right now, but in different tanks. And I would not try them together. I saw some of your rays, and they are way too valuable to "learn from experience" in your case. I personally find that my FRT likes to taste anything that is on the bottom of the tank. My bichir got pretty nasty bites.

I also read somewhere that FRT turns more aggressive as they grow bigger, so I guess it just gets worse...

A big factor lies on the particular FRT , Some are "biters" and others are just mellow. But they do eat meat, specially as they get older and i would really think of the mix as a very risky move since rays and frts stay at the bottom and that rays are somewhat stationary .
