thanks for all them help guyz. well my FRT is about 8-9" and eating well also but one day i notice it had some sort of a green thing on top of the shell so i immidiatly took it out and wiped it with a clean cloth. i know that my plecos love to grin on the FRT's tummy shell and it gets all red scares on them so now i just seperate the turtle and the plecos..

good you separated them. Watch out for red /pink plastron in the FRT. It is a sure sign of poor water quality. It is a sign to be noticed, with the mere suggestion of a pinkish tint in the plastron mandating immediate atention to the water conditions.

Mem get that darn pleco imediatly out of there, he can seriously hurt your turtle:eek:

Also Ive been seing your setup, it seems ok but I would seriously consider removing that sting ray. Its a much real danger to your turt

:eek3::duh::wall:Dude what I told you about flys being territorial and agressive with each other? If you dont have don that alredy put them apart now. You need to keep the water super clean and to desinfect the wound. General topic for fish and stress coat should do the trick. Are you able to get fish bandages? Thouse that koi fanciers use? If yes get some. That wound doesant seem serious but it will probably disfigure your turt for ever:(

hey coura, i gave the one with the broken jaw away.
so the one i have also got bit from the other and its lower jaw has a bruise but no flesh gone... he also had minor fungus beneath its belly..i gently scratched it off with my nail and it got kina pinkish...and its slowly healing i think...

anyway...as u say u need to keep the water clean...i know these turtles need clean water but u think doing 30-40% water change every3 days is too much for these turts? remember, i have chlorine and whatnot in my water..and i do use amquel but i dont think it takes out 100% of the chloramine/etc within the few seconds of transferring water
